I was a prominently featured, regionally known musician despite being a fully blown drug addict because I was in a semi-known band in the industrial rock scene in Boston during the late 90’s and early 2000’s. I couldn’t read sheet music to save my life and mostly played the exact same four chords over and over but because I had a large personality and poofy hair and supplied the band with most of its drugs, they never replaced me until the lead singer overdosed on supplies I provided him. To this day, they all still blame me for his death and have not spoken to me since that day in 2009. I don’t even know where they are now or even if they are still alive, and I honestly don’t care. One of our tracks was featured on an episode of Monk.
