Why The Film, Prison Love, Has Stayed Unreleased

The combination of these factors sealed "Prison Love"’s fate. The controversial content already made it a hard sell. Test audiences found it alienating, and studio executives, operating in the cautious 1990s Hollywood climate, saw it as a financial and PR risk. The on-set feuding between Grammer and Sandler only worsened matters, disrupting production and draining the film of the chemistry needed to salvage its provocative premise. Together, these elements turned "Prison Love" into a project too problematic and divisive to release, leaving it shelved as a relic of misjudged ambition.

When asked recently about the steamy sex scenes with his male co-star in the unreleased film, Kelsey Grammar said, "Those scenes were part of the work—demanding, sure, but it’s about telling the story. Arousal doesn’t come into it; it’s about hitting the marks and making it believable for the audience."

What is tencel?

Tencel is a natural sustainable fabric that comes from Eucalyptus tree pulp. The wood pulp is processed into fiber, then yarn, then fabric. This process “closed loop” and environmentally friendly because it recycles water and reuses the solvent at a recovery rate of over 99%. Our soft, ribbed Tencel fabric is custom made and dyed by us. 88% tencel and 12% spandex. It’s comfy, breathable like cotton or linen, stretchy, and natural.

How to take care of Tencel
Our Tencel garments are lazy-person friendly and do well when machine-washed and dried. But if you want your Tencel pieces looking brand new for years and years, we recommend that you hang dry them to preserve the color and fit.
