If we didn’t have to defecate, we really could just leave our homes almost indefinitely. Yes, we like being warm, secure, and having a place to put all of our stuff, but it comes down to the fact that we all have to defecate regularly and can’t go too far from our homes because then we would have to use a public restroom. If someday, medicine invents a medical procedure in which one can cease all defecations, then I will undergo it. I want to walk miles and miles with an entire pot of hot black coffee in my belly and be secure knowing that at no point during my long walk could I possibly need to defecate.
