I went full vegan for almost two years. It started out great but right before year 2 of eating zero animal products, I became ravenous for potato chips and sharp cheddar. It was like I just craved fat and salt like an animal and would go on a long journey to obtain the sharpest of sharp cheddars and the fattiest of the potato chips. This two-year experiment taught me that fat is very important in a human's diet. But don’t go too crazy with fat. The poison is in the dose. It’s all about listening to the tiny, subtle voice in your body and finding balance. The tiny voice will tell you when you need to eat more vegetables and when you need to eat more fat. I’m now no longer vegan, but I do only eat organic, sustainable, and grass-fed, so I still hold moral superiority over most people.
